Many of the rides involve riding in remote areas, on rough roads and tracks, with poor or no mobile phone coverage. The routes in the forest are sometimes not obvious, as additional tracks may have been created by forest operations which are not shown on maps. It is important that the remote area rides in particular, are only ridden by experienced riders who:
South Durras Scenic Ride in Murramarang National Park
The ride starts from the car park at the Sports Oval on Durras Dr in South Durras. (The oval is on your right as you arrive in the village).
The ride includes a tour of Durras Village then a trip down to North Head through the National Park, the return takes you down Skid Ridge Rd and Benandra Rd back into Sth Durras.
The distance is 25km on mainly gravel roads and the grade is moderate.

Kings Highway near Nelligen to Shallow Crossing
This ride starts at the intersection of the Kings Highway and River Rd, 2km west of Nelligen.
The 39 km route basically follows River Rd out and back beside the Clyde River.
It is graded as moderate difficulty on an unsealed surface.

Nelligen towards Benandra loop
The ride starts at the water front in Nelligen village.
The 25km scenic loop through the Benandarah State Forest, follows the ridge tops to the east of Nelligen utilising Old Nelligen Rd, Iron Bark Range Rd, Shannons Rd and Lookout Rd.
This ride is rated as moderate difficulty with undulating terrain and unsealed surface.

Princes Highway near Mogo to Nelligen and return
The ride start is at the intersection of Runnyford Rd and the Princes Hway, 2km north of Mogo (at the top of the first hill).
It proceeds along Runnyford Rd to Nelligen and back.
The 44km return route is classified as moderate difficulty on an unsealed surface. There is a moderate hill near the middle of the ride. The rest of the ride is undulating.

Mogo to Buckenboura River loop
The ride start is at the Car Park at the back of the shops in Mogo (entrance off Tomakin Rd).
This ride is to the west of Mogo along the Buckenbowra Rd and Quart Pot Rd to the Buckenbowra River. It then follows the Buckenbowra River along Egans Rd to Runnyford Rd. The final run into Mogo is along the Princes Highway. Great care must be taken when making the right turn on to the Princes Highway from Runnyford Rd.
The 33km ride is graded as moderate difficulty on mainly unsealed surfaces.

Moruya to Tomakin and return
The start point is at Riverside Park in Shore St. Moruya.
The route proceeds along North Head Drive to the Airport. It then follows a track at the back of the Bengello Beach dunes to Broulee. The cycle path and road network then takes you via Mossy Point Headland to Tomakin. The return route is similar. The ride does include a few kilometres on both the busy George Bass Drive and North Head Rd, but is an easy ride as the terrain is flat. The route is mainly sealed except for the track at the back of the Bengello Beach dunes.

Moruya to Donalds Creek and return
The start point is at Riverside Park in Shore St. Moruya.
The ride follows Araluen Rd, Womban Rd and Donalds Creek Rd and is a return trip of about 32km which involves a climb over a 200m high hill followed by a descent to Donalds Creek. The turn around point is at the very pretty Donalds Creek Waterhole and Gorge which makes the ride worthwhile. The return is on the same route and hence involves a climb back over the same hill. This is a moderate to difficult ride on a mainly unsealed surface.

Moruya to Larrys Mountain loop
The ride start is at Riverside Park in Shore St Moruya.
The route leaves Moruya on the Araluen Road. Continue until you reach the intersection of Larrys Mtn Rd. Climb to the top of Larrys Mtn then descend still on Larrys Mtn Rd to the Princes Highway where you turn right to return to Moruya. This is a hard ride due to the long and steep climb up Larrys Mtn. The route has a mixture of sealed and unsealed surfaces.

South Moruya Forest loop
The ride starts at the Riverside Park car park.
The 30 km route heads south from Moruya along Araluen Road, Womban Road and Fox Gully Road returning to Moruya along Dwyers Creek Rd. This is a moderate to hard ride with one significant hill followed by an undulating ride along ridge tops (with some short steep sections). The route is mainly unsealed. Tuross Head to H Ridge
The start of the ride is at the Boat Sheds at the cnr of Trafalgar Rd and Nelson Pde Tuross Head.
The 39km ride leaves Tuross along the very scenic cycle path it then joins Hector McWilliam Dr out to the Highway. From there it follows Old Mill Rd, Italian Mines Rd, Western Bdy Rd before descending on H Ridge Rd to Triangle Rd. It then returns to the Highway along Old Mill Rd and finally back to Tuross along Hector McWilliam Dr.

Bodalla to Cadgee Mtn Loop
The ride starts at the Fire Station on the Princes Highway in Bodalla and follows the Eurobodalla Rd to the Cadgee Mtn Road (which is where the hill is), returning along Nerrigundah Mtn Rd (downhill) to Eurobodalla Rd then back to Bodalla. The distance for the full ride is 41km. This is graded at moderate to hard due to a significant hill about two thirds of the way into the ride. The route has a mixture of sealed and unsealed surfaces. There are likely to be gravel carting trucks on Eurobodalla Rd on work days.

Bodalla to Potato Point Loop
This ride departs from the Bodalla Fire Station on the Princes Highway (opposite the Police Station). As this ride involves riding on the beach it is best done right at low tide.
This 26 km very scenic ride travels through farmland and forest to Brou Lake and then to the ocean past Tarouga Lake. A 700m ride/walk along the beach at low tide takes you to Potato Point. Blackfellows Pt is the next stop. Blackfellows Rd then takes you to Horse Island Rd followed by the return to Bodalla on Potato Pt Rd. The route has a mixture of sealed and unsealed surfaces

Bodalla to Comerang Mountain loop
This ride (44km) starts at the Fire Station on the Princes Highway in Bodalla and follows Eurobodalla for a short distance before beginning the climb up Comerang Mtn Rd. It then follows Nerrigundah Ridge Rd before joining Nerrigundah Mtn Rd for a long descent back to Eurobodalla Rd for the return to Bodalla. This is a hard ride due to the amount of climbing which is on mainly gravel roads, but sealed road for the descent. The ride provides some lovely views of the forest mountain area as well as following the Tuross River back to Bodalla.
There are likely to be gravel carting trucks on Eurobodalla Rd on work days.

Tyrone Bridge at Nerrigundah Mtn Rd to Wagonga Inlet Loop
This ride starts at the junction of Eurobodalla Rd and Nerrigundah Mtn Rd approx 9.5km west of Bodalla. The 37km route includes Cheese Factory Rd, Morts Folly Rd, descends on F Ridge to Wagonga Inlet then climbs on Cobra Rd back to C Ridge with the final descent being on Bullockys Hut Rd. Total distance is 38km with a lot of climbing on what is a difficult ride but fine for ebikes. Narooma to the historic Mystery Bay Velodrome and return
The ride starts at the car park near the Quarterdeck Restaurant in Riverside Dr. at Narooma
This route follows the Old Highway from Narooma to the Tilba Winery. It then goes up Watertank Rd to the Princes Highway where it follows a narrow track alongside the highway to Mystery Bay Rd. From Mystery Bay Rd there is an access track to the north to the velodrome. It then follows some spectacular cliff scenery to the National Parks information area near the boat ramp in Mystery Bay village. Whales are likely to seen on this route in season.
This is about a 35km ride and follows undulating terrain. It is graded as a moderate difficulty ride. It is a very scenic and enjoyable route on a mixture of sealed and unsealed surfaces.
The velodrome is the most significant piece of historical cycling infrastructure in the shire.

Narooma to Brou Lake and return
The start and finish is at the car park next to the Quarterdeck Restaurant on Riverside Dr. at Narooma. This ride is to Brou Lake via Dalmeny (37km). It uses the cycle paths wherever possible. It is an easier ride as the hills are small! The outward and return journeys are the same for the most part. The ride is very scenic and includes some wonderful viewpoints.
This ride is generally on sealed surfaces except for the last few kms into Brou Lake. A short section of riding on the Highway is involved. Ride defensively when crossing Lawlers Creek Bridge on the Highway.

Narooma to Mystery Bay 1080 Beach and return
The ride starts at the car park near the Quarterdeck Restaurant in Riverside Dr. at Narooma
This route follows the Old Highway from Narooma to the Tilba Winery. It then goes up Watertank Rd to the Princes Highway where it follows a narrow track alongside the highway to Mystery Bay Rd. From Mystery Bay Rd turn right into Lamont Young Drive then shortly after turn left on to the gravel access road to 1080 Beach and the scenic headland, with great views to the south.
This is about a 36km ride and follows undulating terrain. It is graded as a moderate difficulty ride. It is a very scenic and enjoyable route. The return journey is the same as the outward route. There is on a mixture of sealed and unsealed surfaces.

The start is at the car park near the Quarterdeck Restaurant in Riverside Dr at Narooma.
The route includes: Old Highway, Ridge Rd, and Punkalla Rd to Central Tilba then Haxtead Rd to the Cemetery on the coast. Return to Narooma along Sunnyside Rd, Mystery Bay Rd, Watertank Rd and the Old Highway.

The ride starts at the car park next to the Quarterdeck Restaurant in Riverside Dr. in Narooma
This is one of the most scenic rides in the EuroBUG Calendar, with a great variety of scenery.
The route follows the Old Highway then Scenic Dr around the southern and western side of Wagonga Inlet then heads north to Mitchells Ridge Rd back to the Highway. It then enters Dalmeny and follows the coastal route back to Narooma for a total distance of 39km. This is an undulating ride of moderate to hard difficulty on a mixture of sealed and unsealed surfaces
