Discover Fitness and Friendship with the Eurobodalla Bicycle User Group
Looking to get fit, feel energised, and explore the most beautiful sights in the Eurobodalla Shire, including some of the best coffee spots? The Eurobodalla Bicycle User Group (EuroBUG) has been doing just that since 2007, blending fitness with fun in a welcoming, social environment.
Whether you're looking to exercise, breathe in the fresh air or explore the magnificent landscapes our region has to offer, you’ll be welcome here. One of the greatest rewards of EuroBUG is the lasting friendships that form, often over coffee after a ride.
Who We Are
Our members are mainly retirees but we also have riders who fit cycling into their work schedules. On our Monday rides, we typically see between 25 and 60 riders, with smaller groups on our Wednesday rides, which are shorter and more relaxed. Our routes span the entire Eurobodalla Shire, with rides extending south to Bermagui and touching Shoalhaven to the north, leading you through some of the area’s most breathtaking and little-known destinations.
No Fees, Just Fun
There’s no cost to join our rides — just a nominal $2 annual membership. We cater to different fitness levels by offering several ride groups, each with its own pace and distance, so there’s always an option that suits your current fitness. Our goal is to strike the balance between social riding and getting a workout.
Variety for All Levels
The distances listed on our ride calendar are for the full ride, but we often have shorter, easier options available. You'll need a mountain bike or similar, as most of our rides include gravel roads and tracks.
